SAVAGE SWORD OF CONAN NO. 1 (PART 1)

After the re-launch of SAVAGE TALES in October 1973, the Mighty Marvel couldn't keep a good barbarian down and followed it up with another Conan-centric 'zine, THE SAVAGE SWORD OF CONAN in August 1974. While SAVAGE TALES lasted on 11 issues, SAVAGE SWORD ran for a whopping 235!

This first issue is packed with strips and articles on all manner of Howard's legacy, including an "uncensored" version of the controversial "The Frost Giant's Daughter". Gil Kane's BLACKMARK also makes an appearance here.
